The ceremony took place at Fiskerstrand Verft outside Ålesund on Wednesday the 14th of December. The ferry will enter traffic between “Mortavika” and “Arsvågen” in south western Norway.

The ferry has two car decks capable of carrying 242 cars and the passenger capacity is 600 persons. The ferry has three gas engines, giving it a speed of more than 20 knots. The gas engines signifcantly reduces the vessel’s air emissions compared to diesel engines.
